Local Transportation

MICA is located at 1401 Mt. Royal Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21217; all events are in the Brown Center (modern glass building that leans out over the street).

MICA is a short taxi ride from the Inner Harbor and other downtown locations.

Travel from the airport to downtown Baltimore via taxi or airport shuttle.

If you are traveling by train, MICA is a three-block walk from the train station.

Bus service will be provided between MICA and Renaissance Harborplace Hotel, 202 East Pratt Street, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you are not staying at that hotel, you can still take the bus to and from the Inner Harbor.

Kick-off Event
Join us at MICA for a reception sponsored by Baltimore AIGA on Friday night at 6:00pm and keynote lecture by Scott Stowell at 7:00pm.

Picking up your badge and conference materials
Conference sign-in will begin on Saturday morning at 8:00am. Registration will remain open throughout the duration of the conference.

Hotels
The official conference hotel is Baltimore Renaissance Harborplace, which is a short drive or taxi ride from MICA.

Abercrombie and Badger is a bed-and-breakfast two blocks from MICA.

Taxis to the airport are easily available at Penn Station, which is three blocks from MICA.
